The New Children’s Hospital (NCH) is the largest healthcare project in the history of the Irish State, with a total approved budget of €2.24 billion. The 160,000 m² facility includes 6,150 rooms, 380 single inpatient rooms, 110 outpatient rooms, 93 day beds, 20 CAMHS beds, 22 theatres and procedure rooms, 5 MRI scanners, and an education centre supporting 2,500 students. It consolidates three legacy hospitals into a single national tertiary centre serving 25% of Ireland’s population and delivering care across 39 clinical specialties.
