Arlene Ryan is a highly experienced healthcare quality and patient safety specialist with more than 34 years’ experience supporting healthcare organisations across Ireland, the UK and the Middle East. A registered general nurse with advanced qualifications in occupational safety, quality management and healthcare leadership, Arlene has held senior roles in healthcare commissioning, clinical governance, regulatory inspection and hospital operational readiness.

She has extensive experience leading quality improvement programmes, risk management initiatives, accreditation projects and organisational change, including regulatory roles with HIQA and major hospital developments in the UAE. Arlene is recognised for her collaborative leadership, practical approach to governance and her commitment to creating safe, high-quality healthcare environments that improve outcomes for patients, staff and healthcare organisations
